JoyArty was created by Colorado Springs artist and illustrator Lori Vafiades to bring colorful, creative experiences to gatherings, celebrations, and community events. With over 40 years of experience as a professional artist, illustrator, teacher, and event artist, Lori combines fine art, creativity, and connection to create welcoming experiences for people of all ages.

Lori’s artwork and illustration work can be found throughout Colorado Springs, across the United States, and in private collections around the world. She is known for her watercolor and mixed media artwork, live painting experiences, and interactive creative gatherings. Lori also illustrated the book Here I Am, The One You Love by Stephanie Schierman, which has more than 14,000 copies in print.

Alongside Lori, JoyArty works with a growing team of trained and experienced artists who help provide face painting, henna, live painting, creative experiences, and hands-on art events throughout the Colorado Springs area. Together, the team focuses on professionalism, creativity, warmth, and creating memorable experiences that bring people together through art.
